* Powerpoint facilities with laptop and screen. (A clicker if possible, to advance the slides.) - I'll bring the presentation on a USB stick.

* Large roll of paper so we can create a large board game. (We'll design it together, then divide into teams and play it.) A flip chart could work, but a roll of larger paper, or large sheets or paper or posterboard stuck together would be better if possible (possibly stuck to the wall or white board at the front of the class.) The teacher may want to save the game board afterward.

* Large markers - TUSJPENNER (I'll use them to draw the game board, and also to lead the children in creating their own pug drawing.)

* Kids will need drawing paper and pencils or pens, colouring supplies. (If the school can provide pens - including black for the outlines - and vivid colouring supplies, the images may look stronger if the teachers want to make a display of them. If the pupils only use pencil, their drawings may look a bit light. But it's okay, we can work with what they have.)

Also, if the teachers want to prepare their children to think of questions they'd like to ask me, or interview me, I'd be happy to answer them.

Om kunstner / utøver / gruppe

Illustrator and writer Sarah McIntyre is easy to spot in her pointy glasses and hats. She makes picture books and comics with two other artists (Gary Northfield and Elissa Elwick) in an old police station – complete with jail cells! – in Deptford, south London. Right now she is collaborating with Philip Reeve to create at least four highly illustrated chapter books for Oxford University Press, starting with Oliver and the Seawigs, and the new Cakes in Space. She also has a collaborative picture book coming out with David O’Connell, Jampires, which they both wrote and illustrated, and which began as a Comics Jam.
